What we believe in, is what we live in

The sun neither rises nor sets, it is the earth which rotates but still we start our days calling the dawn, a sunrise and end the day with what we call a sunset. The way we believe things is because of the way we get to see them. The way in which we live our life depends on the facts we believe in.             In the times when the fact about the earth not being the centre of the universe was not known, people believed the earth as the centre, formed theories and untrue facts and strived to solve mysteries with their aid; only to die and never know that they were headed towards the wrong way. Now in the modern age we boast of having more and truer knowledge than the people of historic times but it may so be the reality that we too are believing in the wrong facts and are headed the wrong way. "Childhood days were the happiest" is one of the most common phrase heard during day to day conversations of adults trying to move forward and live their life through the wheels of memories, experiences and learning. Maybe, it is because how perfect we are born and how imperfect we become while growing up and passing through the realities of the world. A short piece of writing describing this journey with hope that we can beam like babies and children again... From childhood to adulthood I have learnt many things. Parents, teachers, adults, elders, and many others taught me many things and I have transformed to an adult from child. Learned, is what I assumed myself until I understood that I am not.
